"Same Love" (with Ryan Lewis) (feat. Mary Lambert) says it the best.........................................
Who are we to play god? Who are we to judge? Who are we to say that it is not right for one woman to love another woman or a man to love another man.

This blog is a little late but I have to say going to Salisbury pride was one of the best things I have done. I support gays/lesbians how I see it is who am I to care who you love, it is honestly none of my business but.... my best friends are lesbians and they are some of the most caring and warmhearted people out there! So why do people keep crushing them, judging them, and making them a outcast?

We once had to fight for women's rights and blacks freedom and rights how is this any different all it is is passing judgment on others and damn it WE WILL also fight for the rights of the same love.

Protesters lined the streets at Salisbury pride but did that bother the gays NO they stood up for what they believe god loves every one and who are they to cast the first stone and try to say that gays are a abomination and that god hates them. They are so worried about sin that they are breaking one of the Golden rules of the Bible... " Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.  {Matthew 7: 1-2}"  Walking the streets my friend said it the best she walked right up to that protester and asked him if he would like to throw the first stone.

Salisbury pride is nothing but that, PRIDE in who these loving people are. They celebrate in drag shows and show there love to one another and just have fun with no judgement as a matter of fact the host of the show asked how many of us in the audience were straight and at least 33% were I am happy to see that we were strong enough to support the ones we also love as our own family. I was there with Jaxson Moray one of the best drag kings around in my opinion. Also I was there with my friend/ "sister" Kelly. We are members of  the dream team (Jaxson's Cheering squad) who are: her Wing man John, her wife Kelly, and Me :-)

These are just a few more pictures of pride to show most of the fun loving people you might meet one day. Do me a favor before you judge get to know the people you are judging they might just become your best friend. They may just be your neighbors that you have lived next to for years, who don't want you to think they are not "straight" or your siblings. Don't judge because you are only truly judging yourself!!! I do not judge people who are different in any way, if I did I would not have the great friends I do today. If I could name each and every one of my friends I would but, there are just to many of them out there that are great.
